Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships 2009

Shannon and I decided to brave the back of the queue consisting of the many loyal supports who camp in the park to ensure they'll get into the grounds to watch a bit of tennis. Luckily I livearound the corner from Wimbledon Park so we got up, had a shower and then headed over. I was number 3155 in the queue and Shan 3156! Luckily we came prepared with our picnic blanket, supplies & bottle of Rose [which we had to ask the barman inside to open after my bottle opener was confiscated at the entrance] The queue moved really fast once the gates had opened and it was actually quite a fun experience with lots of entertainment being provided. When inside we made the most of our day enjoying the tennis and sights and obviously the strawberries and cream!
